Delta Emerald — This cow was purchased in the Louisiana Purchase Sale, Metairie, LA, from Johnnie Hoffman. She was taken to Ohio and given all the normal vaccines in case she brought any of the Gulf Coast diseases along with her. We knew there were liver flukes in coastal areas so she was treated with ivermectin. What we did not know was that the pharmaceutical company made a special Ivermectin F for flukes. We used the normal Ivermectin. In about 3 years the flukes destroyed her liver. She was a beautiful white cow. Both registration certificates included.
